Nick Clegg joined St. James's Place Wealth Management in 2010. He operates from our offices in a converted mill just outside the village of Bishops Waltham, covering the whole of the South Coast of England, including the Isle of Wight. Nick has established a successful Practice whereby the majority of new clients are introduced by satisfied existing ones.
Prior to joining St. James's Place Wealth Management Nick spent five years at Barclays – as a branch manager for two years and as a financial planner for a further three years. Before joining financial services, he enjoyed a long career in convenience retail management.
Nick is very proud to have achieved Chartered Financial Planner Status and to have become a Fellow.
Nick is married to Zoe and lives in Fareham with their 2 young children. In his spare time Nick enjoys spending time with his family, football and going to the gym. He also loves cooking and trying his hand at different recipes to try and improve.
Vicky has a long career within the financial services sector where she has gained a wealth of experience in providing excellent administration and customer support services to clients. If you need help with anything at all and aren’t sure where to go or who to ask, please call Vicky who will be delighted to assist. Vicky lives in Southampton with her husband and family and very much enjoys being involved in the running of her son’s local youth football club.
Andy is a recent addition to the team, joining as an Adviser and brings with him 17 years industry experience.
Andy has worked for large institutional banks and insurance companies spending a number of years at the Royal Bank of Canada, Brown Brothers Harriman, AXA Wealth and Phoenix Corporate Investment Services. He has a strong investment and pensions background, relevant qualifications with a BA (Hons) degree in Financial Services, the IMC (Investment Management Certificate) and the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Andy is also currently studying towards his Chartered status whilst attending the St. James’s Place Next Generation Academy throughout 2020.
Outside of work, Andy is a keen runner and squash player, playing in the local Winchester leagues where he lives with his wife Clare and two young children aged 10 and 7.
Connor joins the Practice as a Financial Adviser having worked in the financial services profession since leaving university in 2013. He started his career at Old Mutual Wealth, previously Skandia, before working for several Financial Adviser firms working his way up from administrator to paraplanner and has now taken the next step to Financial Adviser within our Practice.
In addition to his past experience, Connor is currently enrolled on St. James’s Place Next Generation Academy which is due to complete in May 2020. St. James’s Place proudly runs The Academy which provides what we believe is an unrivalled development programme for outstanding individuals and will equip him to provide a first class professional and expert wealth management service to our clients.
Connor has completed the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and continues to study towards Chartered Status which he expects to have achieved by October 2020.
Outside of work Connor enjoys an active social life playing Southampton Saturday League football for his local team and using the gym, mainly for the spa facilities.
Lesley joins the Practice having spent her career to date in the financial sector and is no stranger to providing first-rate customer service.
Lesley lives locally with her family and is very much involved in her community as a local Parish Councillor and also assists with the Scout Group in her village.
Val has spent much of her career to date in administration and management, together with bookkeeping and accountancy roles.
She also started and ran a children’s books business for ten years. She enjoyed the books a great deal, along with the interaction with children and schools.
Val enjoys cooking, walking the family dog, spending time in the garden and reading. She lives with her partner in south Hampshire.
